The 2008 Frosted Gala was an experiment, blending fashion, spectacle, and performance, with branding and retail.

For this event, I had recruited a roster of local models to wear and present crystal fashion jewellery pieces in a “Frosted Fashion Performance”. At this stage, while Dori’s Diamonds was still relatively new, I had also played with the idea of sponsoring a team of performers, and thus this was the inaugural performance of “Cinquonized”, Dori’s Diamonds’ sponsored team of fashion and hip-hop dancers.

For this first event, the theme was simply “Frosted” – the event space was meant to look like an icy, frosted wonderland.
