The Electric Frosted Gala featured a line of innovative jewellery designed to glow using tiny LEDs. This was the first gala where a product launch matched precisely with the event’s theme. To tie the theme together, as usual, a frosted fashion performance showcased the overarching concept; however, this marked the first event that Dorian Inc. flew in a viral YouTube performer (Marquese Scott – Dancer).
The video produced as a follow-up to the event has, to date, received over 200,000 views. The intent in merging with a viral YouTube performer was, indeed, an attempt to capture new audiences via social media.
